It started with a simple idea.

So what started as a simple idea? Turned into something way bigger initially I set triple 6 customs with the idea of creating a YouTube channel to show my build and I figured that in order to get people to follow the build I had to simply set up a Facebook and Instagram page so I did.

What came off that was somewhat strange. I realised that it simply was a gap where the little guy meaning the little creators the hat the crafters were simply not cared about and I don't know why. So then said about reaching out to somebody these people and interviewing them live on Facebook. Because of my lack of technical ability. It's simply was easy to hit live and had a friend, little did I know where this was going to take me seven months after doing my first podcast? I was able to interview 50 people in less than 7 months all live across Facebook ,,YouTube ,Instagram.

Yet I still felt that something was missing across the next year. I realise that the social media platforms are very much a pay to play platform.. and what I mean by this is I know tattooist who have 30k plus followers and some videos may only reach 1000 maybe less views so the question I asked and keep trying to learn about is why is this the case?

So I figured there was an opportunity to create a driven platform and that was when I was lucky enough to connect with Adrian the dude who took my ideas and put them into one platform that would work and this is where subkultr was born.

Subkultr is a place for like-minded people who care about the craft whether they a tattooist, chopper builder, independent clothing company, BMXer, Barber, Subkultr is he for these people to simply want to upload some photos write a little blog about what they've been up to upload a conventional post ie a photo and a tiny description. All the way through to running your store on subkultr. We aren't here to make you pay to play for you to get more exposure. It is simply a place to give you an opportunity to showcase your craft.....

Kind regards, Josh
