Super Sausage Café

If your idea of a good ride ends with a proper fry-up, you need to get yourself over to the Super Sausage Café. It’s right on the A5 in Potterspury, just down the tarmac from Silverstone, and on any decent weekend the place gets rammed with hundreds of bikes.

That’s half the reason I love stopping here—the car park turns into a proper unscripted bike meet. You’ll see old British iron parked right next to hardtail choppers, track bikes, and daily commuters. Inside, the walls are covered in race photos, and they’ve got helmet racks by the tables so you don't have to haul your kit around while you eat.

The spot’s been going on Watling Street for over 70 years. Chris and Gail Murray took it over back in 2009, and they’ve kept the food top-notch—it's picked up a bunch of "Best Biker Cafe" awards for a reason. Brands like Suzuki and Aprilia even run test-ride days out of the car park, and their Thursday evening bike nights through spring and summer are always worth the ride out.
